In Isaiah, Chapter 1, one can notice that the first feature of the priesthood is that it is fearless. Prophet Isaiah was not afraid to proclaim to the Israelites the punishment that they were to suffer from as a result of their wicked ways (“Books of the Bible”, n.p.). In this chapter, Isaiah was very vocal about some of the vices such as corruption that was spread at that time.

The application of this principle at the workplaces means that people should not allow unlawful and inappropriate things to take place. For instance, a person should not sit quietly when she/he notices the signs of nepotism. This means that in the event that an individual realizes that his or her colleague is corrupt, he or she has to approach that man and talk him into abandoning such a behavior. In addition, workers must ensure that their colleagues are reminded about the right things that they should engage into while carrying out their responsibilities.

Furthermore, one reads in Philippians, Chapter 2, about the importance of humility and unity. According to the text, Jesus Christ who abandoned his godly nature and came on the Earth in the human likeness represents the greatest show of humility.

At the workplace, people need to demonstrate the feature in order for them to carry out their responsibilities effectively. Actually, the individuals at high positions in companies are the ones who need to exhibit high levels of meekness and humbleness. It would be wrong for them to misuse the power bestowed on them as a result of the posts they possess. Regardless of the authority that a manager has, the notion of priesthood states that he or she should remain humble and not use it to exploit people and to their advantage. If they demonstrate the mentioned features, they will be able to gain the respect of their subordinates that is helpful in attaining effective management in the workplace.

To continue, one of the Bible chapters that gives the priests a sense of encouragement is Chapter 5 in the book of Matthew. This part of the Holy Scripture tells about the beatitudes that Jesus shared with a crowd that had followed him up a mountain. One notion about priesthood that is found among them is the importance of righteousness, and people who are persecuted for showing this quality are promised the heavenly kingdom.

In addition, it helps decrease the numerous conflicts that occur at workplaces which is good since the clashes reduce the pace at which things are run in different organizations.
