In addition, love affects the feelings of individuals towards others. Love also affects the depth and the breadth of information that is exchanged. In casual relationships, the acquaintances normally exchange sketchy information, but in intimate relationships, people normally share profound information that relate to each other’s personal histories, weaknesses, values, fears, and idiosyncrasies (Codde 44). In the novel, one can see Leo dreaming about his lost love and this shows that he longed to be close to his loved ones (Krauss 27). Love makes people behave in the way they believe is pleasing towards their loved ones. Therefore, the way all people behave towards others is determined by what they believe is good to their loved ones. As a result, everything that happens, it happens because people do it the way they believe it will please their loved ones. If people believe what people are saying or doing will please their loved ones, they normally tend to do it exactly the way they should to make their loved ones happy. As a result, in the modern world, the concept of love and influences they way people choose their leaders. People will choose leaders that they love and believe most (Codde 44). At times, love can be based on the false propositions, so in a situation like this, people believe in the false propositions. In situations like this, people love others due to their financial stability, but when they become poor, they disappear and look for other people who have money.
